Staff relaxing... Into the Dunk tank Our University Team Medics on course Patient Transfer
For 2010 we are running the following:
- Helicopter Crewmembers Course - For medics wishing to work on air ambulance helicopters. Sucessful completion can lead to accreditation with the University of Northumbria.
- Aeromedical Transfer - For paramedics and doctors working on fixed wing repatriation flights. (Run with Mediaviation and Air Med at Oxford). Once again, this course counts towards your Continuing Professional Development award with the University of Northumbria.
- Aeromedical First on Scene - For Police crews who are often first on scene in remote areas and want the knowledge to help casualties until medical help arrives.
- Crew Resource Management - With over 15 years experience flying with the Emergency Services we know the pressures, problems and rewards that such tasking brings. All our sessions cover the mandatory modules and focus them on the way that you fly. We can do initial and refreshers. as with our other courses you can stay with us or we are happy to travel to your Unit.
- Cold Water Survival - Designed for helicopter crews whose area has significant water to fly over (estuaries, lakes, coastline).
